BACKGROUND:
"Deep in the Northlands, under the Blackspine mountains, it came to pass that a new king rose to sit on the ancient throne of D'Rgal, which had sat empty for generations. He decreed a new era for the tribes of green, an era of fire, steel, and conquest. Once more would the Blackspine mountains burn with the fires of the ancient forges of ancestors, and once more would the tribes of green sweep from it's slopes like a flood to conquor and rule. The new King Under the Mountain called out to his warriors to bring back fresh slaves of conquest to work the mines, or themselves be subject to his one, all consuming command, DIG! Ever deeper the mines must be Dug, for he knew it was down there somewhere...the answer to all he sought..."

Created and rendered on a Celeron 2.66ghz single core with 3.5gb of ram, in Poser Pro (7). No outside effects or compositing aside from watermarks. The flames are a stand in for particle effectors to be added later. Lighting from fire lights only, set to match flame emitters. This is an excerpt from a animated clip - motion still being finalized.
