"Kur'dak stood upon the blood soaked fields of Aetheron and watched in silence.  Many of his clan brothers lie dead, or gravely wounded.  Though the castle of the three dukes had fallen, it was a dark day for the clan Hal'ruk.  Their army had been decimated in this battle - who ever would have thought the pink skins could fight so viciously?  Kur'dak's mood shifted and his gaze fell upon one of the fallen being dragged off field, Gros'brak's one eyed visage stared vacantly off into oblivion from his broken and twisted form.  Kur'dak felt relieved at least that was a score he need not worry about now...better yet, he had proven he deserved his place as bannerman.  Although the honor guard had fallen, Kur'dak survived.  From nearby Kur'dak could hear the groans of the wounded, and so he took a deep breath and wandered into the fields of his fallen comrades to aide in helping those who still lived to safety."
