TITLE:"Fly By Night"

YEAR: 1996
BACKGROUND:
This image was created with a Number two, hard lead pencil, and some india ink in the darker areas of the sky. The image was actually done in two stages, on a fine tooth drawing surface (loose Leaf) of unusal size. The outfit and bits of armor were ilustrated seperately, copied, cut, and pasted (by hand, not digitally), as the orriginal figure was nude. Perhaps some day I shall post the orriginal figure without the backdrop or armor.
This is Amanda, the Dragon Princess. She is a fantasy character for a series I was working on. As with many projects, it was eventually dropped. I am quite happy with this piece over all, despite it's relative simplicity compared to other works of mine.
Not sure if this fits better under Females, Fantasy, or Dark...so I'm gonna put it in Fantasy.

whoo, I like female dragons 
very nice concept. Perhaps the hands are a little small for a dragon, but worked out very well. Ut must have taken hours to make the black background with a pencil!
The moon is a little "eggy" maybe.
