TITLE: "Veernex Corvexes - Armored Soldier Mk.XV Support Suite"

BACKGROUND:
Th Corvexes Armored Soldier Mk XV Support Suite was a stopgap design built to augement the fighting strength of mechanized units fielding Mk.IIs. Not as lightweight, as the Armored Soldier Mk.II, the Mk. XV was still a manueverable machine. The Support Suite shared the added versatility of the Mk. II through the use of it's various upgrade packs and weapon loadouts. The Mk. XV featured a much more powerful weapons array, and somewhat improved armor over the Mk. IIs. The Armored Soldier Mk.XV was used primarily as a low ranking officer or squad leader unit, with limitted deployment in full assault squads. The AS Mk.XV entered production during the first year of the division wars, and saw continual production throughout the twelve year war.
This image was created using Artistic Lining Pens. It was rendered on a medium tooth drawing surface, found in a leatherbound, Tara sketchbook (8.5 x 11 inch). The entire piece took me about 6 hours to complete. It is one of many planned mechanical designs for an ongoing science fiction storyline I was working on at the time. The majority of other designs never did get finished. I hope someday to return to this (among other) projects.
